Sousse

Hey all, Well We've decided that since it's not always that easy to get the blogs up reguarly duet to lack of net. Just going to write them out every now and again on the mac and then put them up when we get to connect to the internet (like at the airport)....

Man Tunis airport is scary, people come up to you asking if you want a TAXI and then follow you around until you bascially have to kind of run away from them. When we got there we didnt hav our visa's (which we knew we would have to get on arrival) but the travel agent didnt tell us that we needed actual Tunisian dollars not just US dollars. so it was hell trying to get out of the security without visa's to then get back in and pay for them. But hey after half an hour of being seperated from mum (mum didnt need a VISA because she is travelling on a canadian passport) and no one speaking elglish we worked it out! lol.

toay we are going to see the old Sousse city, so looking forward to that, we are going with one of mum's friends nephew's. He doesnt speak much english but o well, it will be some interesting stuff to see. Get to go to the markets and that. Not sure quite what to expect, we are thinking maybe like Aladin LOLOL.

Well we got to bed last night (this morning) about 5 am and had a really nice sleep in til about 1pm. got up and had breakfast, french bread, nutella, eggs, cheese, juice, fruit, tunisian dates and croisants ! yummy as.

We havnt seen the sea yet but cant wait... OMG the Mediteranian! Going out to a “rave” tonight with the guy we are meeting today, so that should be fun:)... I know its going to weird reading this cause it's like already happened what I'm talking about by the time this goes up onto the net but hey you guys are smart and will work it out:)

By the way I have decided I'm going to dribble on a bit more and put lots of detail into these cause it can be kind of like a diary for me too... so yeah enjoy the read.

Cant wait to get out and emplore tunisia because it seems so different, I'm glad we are not here on our own. Like I mean we are visiting Mum's friends cause I think it would be a lil bit daunting by ourselves, especially that no one here really speaks english.

It's so nice and warm! really nice to be in summer again... the houses here are all white (just like the postcard a few of you saw) it's just like out of the movies haha. And we are staying like in a house that's down an ally lol. I'm listening to The creeps at the moment, wicked song. and alec just took a photo of me typing away. so I'll attacht that to this hehe. One thing that is sooo kool. Okay like all the beds and “couches” and that are all built in, like solid against tha walls its really neat! and all open windows and just fresh air flowing through. and ya eat outside ALL the time, there isnt realy an inside dining area:D.

I cut myself shaving last night, really bad too I catually had to put a band aid on it lol. It was so nice to SLEEEEPPP in a BED! “Destiantion Unknown”!!!! “Follow me and lets go.... to a palce were we belong and leave our troubles at home... follow me and we can go to a place of love joy and destination unkonw... “ lol..

Alec's videoing our room at the moment, i wonder if we will be able to blog that, I will give it a go! hehe.

Well that' all for now. time to pack up a lil. My suit case got kind all turned upside down and mixed up on the way.... lol. Til next time.... Aurevoir!
